Mobile, AL (BuzzReport) – A 34-year-old Mobile woman, Raven Jones, was taken into custody on Thursday, July 10, after allegedly leaving her newborn at a local hospital following birth. Jones was subsequently booked into Metro Jail. According to jail records, Jones faces charges of child abandonment and chemical endangerment of a child. Further records indicate that Jones is set to face a grand jury indictment on an additional charge of chemical endangerment of a child. It is also noted that Jones had outstanding warrants for other charges. As per jail records, Jones is currently being held without bond.
