Local Man Arrested for Attempted Elusion and Resisting Arrest

Prichard, AL (BuzzReport) – A quick response by local law enforcement on Tuesday morning led to the arrest of a 42-year-old Mobile resident. At approximately 10:25 a.m., officers were dispatched to the intersection of Etta Avenue and Prichard Avenue in response to a reported shoplifting.

Upon arrival, officers attempted to detain the suspect, who resisted arrest by physically struggling against the officer. During the altercation, the officer sustained minor, non-life-threatening injuries.

DeAngelo Perryman, 42, was taken into custody without further incident and transported to Metro Jail. Perryman faces charges of Attempt to Elude, Resisting Arrest, and Assault.
