Monroe County Sheriff’s Office Nets Another Drug Arrest in Ongoing Crackdown

Monroeville, AL (BuzzReport) – The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) is continuing its aggressive campaign against drug activity in the Peterman community with another successful arrest. Sheriff Tom Boatwright announced the apprehension of 25-year-old Christile Stallworth following a vehicle pursuit, marking a significant step in the department’s commitment to community safety.

Deputies successfully stopped Stallworth’s vehicle, subsequently discovering a felony amount of marijuana inside. Stallworth now faces charges of First-Degree Possession of Marijuana and Attempting to Elude Law Enforcement. Adding to his legal woes, Stallworth was also wanted by the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office for a Failure to Appear warrant on a separate drug-related charge.

“This arrest underscores our unwavering dedication to maintaining a safe and drug-free environment for all residents of Monroe County,” stated Sheriff Boatwright. “We are actively listening to the concerns of our community and taking decisive action to address them.”

Sheriff Boatwright emphasized the importance of transparency and accountability within the MCSO, noting that all details of the arrest are part of the official public record. He also reminded the public that, in accordance with the law, Mr. Stallworth is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
