Prichard, AL (BuzzReport) – An alleged confrontation between a store employee and a young Black woman at the M&L Food Mart has ignited significant outrage within the Prichard community. Allegations against an employee, identified as Try Lonh Poch, detail a disturbing incident involving a young Black woman that has prompted a widespread social media boycott of the convenience store.

Social media posts circulating widely within the community outline accusations that Poch subjected the customer to racial slurs and demanded she strip. The situation allegedly escalated dramatically when Poch is accused of firing a gun, purportedly targeting the victim and a friend. The victims name has not been released.

In response to these grave accusations, Try Lonh Poch has been arrested and charged with Reckless Endangerment.

The community has swiftly rallied behind the victim and her family, with many expressing their demand for justice. While the precise catalyst for the alleged confrontation remains unclear, the public’s reaction has been unequivocal. Residents are urging others to refrain from patronizing M&L Food Mart, asserting that such alleged behavior disqualifies the business from community support.

“In a situation like this, I don’t think they deserve any business,” stated local resident Terrence Hall. “Long as that store’s been there, I didn’t think they would act like that, but you never know.”

The boycott signifies a strong community stance against the alleged actions, with calls for accountability resonating throughout Prichard. Further details regarding the ongoing investigation are anticipated as the community collectively seeks resolution and justice for those involved.
