Miramar Beach, FL (BuzzReport) – A physical disturbance at the McDonald’s in Miramar Beach on Friday, June 20th, led to the arrest of a 26-year-old individual. According to authorities, Kevonta Demouchet of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, allegedly got into a physical altercation with a juvenile and reportedly pulled a handgun, making threats.

Upon deputies’ arrival, Demouchet fled the scene on foot but was apprehended shortly after. During the pursuit, Demouchet allegedly hid the handgun. He later led deputies to the location of the firearm, which was reported stolen from a Louisiana burglary.

Demouchet faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill, child abuse without great bodily harm, tampering with evidence, grand theft of a firearm, improper exhibition of a firearm, obstruction without violence, and use of a firearm while under the influence of alcohol.

Demouchet was booked into the Walton County Jail and released on a $10,000 bond on Sunday, June 22nd. The investigation is ongoing, and further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
