New Orleans, LA – On June 19, 2025, NOPD Seventh District officers, along with the New Orleans FBI Gang Task Force, took Nathaniel Freeman, born March 25, 2008, into custody in the 4800 block of Shalimar Drive. Freeman is being held in connection with two separate shootings and an armed robbery. The incidents include an armed robbery that occurred on February 20, 2025, at Foch Road and Pines Boulevard, and two aggravated battery by shooting incidents that took place on May 10, 2025, in the 6600 block of Coveview Court, and on June 2, 2025, in the 6500 block of Dwyer Road. During the arrest, officers confiscated two firearms, one with an extended magazine, from Freeman’s vehicle. He was booked at the Orleans Justice Center.
