Bay Minette, AL (BuzzReport) – A string of overnight car break-ins in Bay Minette has resulted in the arrest of a 14-year-old. Police are actively searching for two additional teenage suspects believed to be involved in the crime spree.

According to Bay Minette Police Chief Al Tolbert, the arrested juvenile will face five counts of Breaking and Entering Into a Vehicle. Furthermore, he will be charged with Receiving Stolen Property in the second degree after being found in possession of a stolen .410 Caliber Bolt Action Rifle.

The rifle was reportedly stolen from a vehicle on June 11, 2025, from a residence on Hall Avenue. Police recovered the firearm during the arrest and subsequent search of the suspect’s room. Other stolen property was also recovered from the residence.

In addition to the break-in and theft charges, the same juvenile will also face seven counts of Fraudulent Use of a Cash App Card.

The crimes are reported to have occurred between the hours of 1:00 AM and 3:00 AM in the vicinities of McMillan Avenue and Hall Avenue.

The Bay Minette Police Department is urging anyone with information regarding the two outstanding suspects to come forward. Further updates will be provided as the investigation progresses.
