Loxley, AL – Allan Kyle Jones, 50, a former pastor of Lifeway Community Church in Loxley, has been sentenced to six months in jail after pleading guilty to possession of child pornography. Jones was arrested in August 2023 following the discovery of explicit images and videos of young girls on his cell phone. Jones had served as pastor of Lifeway Community Church on Thompson Road since 2015. Originally facing multiple charges related to the possession of child pornography, Jones pleaded guilty to one charge. He received a 10-year sentence, which was split to include a six-month jail term and three years of probation. In addition to incarceration and probation, Jones is also required to pay various fines and court costs.
