Mobile, AL (BuzzReport) – Two people were injured in a single-vehicle crash in downtown Mobile early Sunday morning. The incident occurred at the intersection of Church and South Lawrence Streets, leaving the area littered with debris. The SUV, according to initial reports, collided with two utility poles and a lamp post before overturning, ultimately coming to rest on its side. The crash occurred before dawn, sometime after 3:00 AM. Upon arrival at the scene, first responders found one occupant of the vehicle outside the wreckage, receiving immediate medical attention for injuries. Firefighters worked diligently to extricate a second individual who remained trapped inside the overturned SUV. The extent of the injuries sustained by both individuals is currently unknown.
