Homicide Investigation Underway in Prichard

Prichard, AL ( BuzzReport) – A homicide investigation is currently underway in Prichard, Alabama, after a report was made on Sunday, June 8, at approximately 5:55 a.m. on First Avenue. According to the Mobile Crime Map, the incident occurred early Sunday morning.

The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene, where deputies were present for nearly three hours, along with multiple squad cars and crime scene tape blocking off the area. Details surrounding the incident are limited, but neighbors report that a man was shot in the street.

Family members of the victim claim that he was mowing the lawn of a family home when the shooting occurred. A vehicle was also removed from the scene by a tow truck.
