Mobile, AL – A 29-year-old Mobile man was taken into custody on Saturday, May 31, 2025, after a violent altercation in the city’s west side. DeAndre Orange was arrested and charged with Assault 2nd Degree and Resist after a fight was reported in the area of 1910 St. Stephen’s Road. According to authorities, officers on patrol observed two adult males engaged in a fight at approximately 3:42 a.m. Upon investigation, it was determined that Orange had used a sharp object to inflict minor lacerations on the victim. Fortunately, the injuries were non-life-threatening, and the victim declined medical attention. Orange resisted arrest but was ultimately detained without further incident. He was transported to Metro Jail. The Mobile Police Department is continuing to investigate the incident. No additional information is available at this time.
