Mobile, AL (BuzzReport) – Four individuals charged in connection with the deadly Sage Park shooting have been denied bond after their initial court appearances. The suspects, Ladarius Moore (20), Jaquentin Brantley (19), Mykael Kimbrough (20), and Roderiquez Holifield (18), appeared in court on May 9. Prosecutors are seeking to apply Aniah’s Law, which allows judges greater discretion to deny bond for those accused of violent crimes. A fifth suspect, Quinterios Parker (23), is being extradited from Ohio and is expected to face a bond hearing soon, with prosecutors also pushing for no bond. Mobile County District Attorney Keith Blackwood argued for no bond due to the severity of the charges, citing concerns about community safety. “These individuals do not need to be out in our community,” Blackwood stated. One of the suspects, Jaquentin Brantley, has a prior case involving shots fired at The Shoppes At Bel Air, for which he was arrested in January of last year. His request for youthful offender status was previously denied, and he was scheduled for a hearing in that case.
