16-Year-Old Arrested After Man Arrives At Mobile Hospital With Gunshot Wound

Mobile, AL (BuzzReport) — A 16-year-old has been arrested following a shooting investigation in Mobile after a male victim arrived at a local hospital late Friday night with a gunshot wound, prompting officers to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.

According to information released by authorities, officers responded to a local hospital at approximately 11:58 p.m. on Friday, October 9, 2026, after receiving a report that a male victim had arrived in a personal vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound.

Upon arrival, officers located the victim and determined that his injuries were non-life-threatening. Although the victim was injured, the initial assessment indicated that his condition was not considered life-threatening.

As the investigation progressed, officers determined that the victim had allegedly been shot by a male subject known to him. Investigators subsequently identified 16-year-old Jaidan Samuel in connection with the shooting.

Samuel was arrested and transported to Metro Jail, according to authorities.
