CITRONELLE, Ala. (BuzzReport) — The Citronelle Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying a person accused of stealing equipment from Citronelle High School in an incident that occurred near Wildcat Stadium.

According to the Citronelle Police Department, the theft was reported following an incident early Thursday, September 10, in the area of Wildcat Stadium, located at 8200 LeBaron Avenue in Citronelle.

Investigators said the suspect is wanted in connection with the theft of a side-by-side ATV, also known as a UTV, along with a blower. Police have not released the value of the stolen property.

Authorities said the individual was observed arriving at the location in what appeared to be a vehicle equipped with a basket on the front. Investigators are working to identify the person and determine the circumstances surrounding the removal of the equipment from the school property.

The incident has prompted police to seek assistance from residents and anyone who may have been in the area around Wildcat Stadium during the early morning hours of September 10. Investigators are particularly interested in anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity, recognized the suspect or vehicle, or captured potentially relevant information on surveillance or security cameras.

Police are urging anyone with information that could help identify the suspect or recover the stolen property to come forward.
