Woman Injured In Early-Morning Shooting On Cedar Downs Drive

Mobile, AL (BuzzReport) — An early-morning shooting left a woman injured Friday after officers were called to a residential area on Cedar Downs Drive.

According to authorities, officers responded to the 1600 block of Cedar Downs Drive at approximately 4:55 a.m. on Friday, September 11, 2026, following reports of a shooting.

When officers arrived, they discovered a female victim suffering from injuries believed to be non-life-threatening. The woman was transported to a local hospital, where she received medical treatment.

During the preliminary investigation, officers determined that a known male subject allegedly shot the victim before leaving the area.
