Woman Arrested After Alleged Assault at Knollwood Apartments

MOBILE, AL (BuzzReport) — A 28-year-old woman was arrested Tuesday evening after police responded to a reported assault at the Knollwood Apartments on Knollwood Drive.

According to authorities, officers were dispatched to 1675 Knollwood Drive at approximately 6:50 p.m. on August 18, 2026, following a report of an assault.

When officers arrived, they reportedly determined that a female suspect had physically assaulted another woman known to her. The circumstances surrounding what led to the confrontation were not immediately released.

Police said the alleged victim sustained minor injuries during the incident. Medical personnel were offered, but the victim declined medical attention at the scene.

The suspect was identified as Frankie Bridges, 28. Bridges was taken into custody by responding officers and transported to Metro Jail.

The incident remains subject to the ongoing legal process. An arrest is an allegation, and Bridges is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.

Authorities have not released additional details regarding the nature of the relationship between the two women or whether further charges could be filed.
