Woman Killed, Two Others Critically Injured in Mobile Shooting During Domestic Altercation

MOBILE, Ala. (BuzzReport) — A late-night shooting in Mobile has left one woman dead and two other people hospitalized with life-threatening injuries, as police investigate what they believe was a domestic altercation that turned deadly.

According to the Mobile Police Department, officers were dispatched at approximately 11:16 p.m. Wednesday, August 12, 2026, to the 7600 block of Elm Circle following reports of a shooting.

When officers arrived, they discovered a female victim inside the residence suffering from a gunshot wound. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Police also found a male victim and another female victim inside the home. Both had sustained life-threatening injuries and were transported to a local hospital for emergency medical treatment.

Investigators say the preliminary investigation indicates that a known male suspect shot the victims during a domestic altercation.

Authorities have not released the identities of the victims or the suspect, and additional details about what led to the confrontation remain limited.

The investigation remains active, and Mobile police said no further information will be released at this time.
