GULFPORT, MS BuzzReport) — Authorities are investigating after a deceased individual was discovered inside a vehicle parked at a Gulfport casino Tuesday afternoon. According to officials, officers with the Gulfport Police Department were dispatched around 3 p.m. to the parking lot located east of Beach View Casino Resort following reports of an unresponsive person inside a vehicle. Upon arrival, officers located the individual and secured the scene as investigators began gathering information surrounding the circumstances of the death. The Harrison County Coroner’s Office also responded to assist with the investigation and to determine the cause and manner of death.
