Armed Robbery Under Investigation at CVS on Dauphin Island Parkway

Mobile, Ala. (BuzzReport) — Police are actively investigating an armed robbery that occurred Monday evening at a CVS Pharmacy on Dauphin Island Parkway.

According to authorities, officers responded to the scene at approximately 7:50 p.m. on May 4, 2026, after receiving reports of a robbery at the store located in the 3100 block of Dauphin Island Parkway.

When officers arrived, the suspect had already fled the area. Preliminary findings indicate that a male subject, armed during the incident, approached the cash register and demanded money. The suspect was able to obtain an undisclosed amount of cash before leaving the scene.

No injuries have been reported in connection with the incident.

Investigators have not yet released a description of the suspect, and it remains unclear whether the individual fled on foot or used a vehicle. Authorities are working to gather surveillance footage and additional evidence from the scene as they continue to piece together the events leading up to the robbery.
