Mobile, AL (BuzzReport) — Police are investigating a shooting incident after a man arrived at a local credit union with life-threatening injuries Wednesday. Officers responded to 6320 Airport Boulevard, the location of New Horizons Credit Union, following reports of a male victim who had sustained a gunshot wound. Upon arrival, officers found the injured man and immediately arranged for him to be transported to a local hospital. Authorities say his injuries are considered life-threatening. According to a preliminary investigation, the man shot himself intentionally at a residence located behind the credit union before making his way to the bank seeking assistance. Police emphasized that no shots were fired inside the bank, and no employees or customers were injured during the incident. The case remains under active investigation, and officials say additional details will be released as they become available.
