Mobile, AL (BuzzReport) — Mobile Police are actively investigating a shooting that left a juvenile with life-threatening injuries Sunday afternoon.
According to authorities, officers responded to the 2800 block of Potter Drive following reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, they located a juvenile victim suffering from a severe gunshot wound. Emergency responders transported the victim to a local hospital, where they are currently receiving treatment.
Officials have not released the age or identity of the victim, and no information has been provided regarding a possible suspect or motive at this time.
Police described the case as an active and ongoing investigation. Detectives remained on scene Sunday working to process evidence and gather information related to the incident.
