PRICHARD, Ala. (BuzzReport) — A Mobile County judge has denied bond for a 20-year-old man accused in the fatal shooting of a Prichard teenager, as multiple suspects — including juveniles — now face serious charges in the case.

During a court hearing, Jonathan Robinson was ordered held without bond on a charge of felony murder in connection with the death of 17-year-old Isaiah Cortez Johnson. The judge also ruled that Robinson is to have no contact with the victim’s family.

Authorities say a juvenile co-defendant, also charged with felony murder, was granted a $350,000 bond under strict conditions. The juvenile must post 10% cash and will remain under house arrest with electronic monitoring if released. The court further ordered that the juvenile have no contact with Johnson’s family.

The charges stem from a shooting that occurred Sunday, March 15, at a store located along Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue in Prichard. Investigators say Johnson was fatally shot during the incident.

According to officials, five individuals were present at the time of the shooting. One person was detained for questioning and later released without charges. Authorities have also indicated that two additional juveniles are expected to face felony murder charges as the investigation continues.

Law enforcement has not yet released further details regarding the circumstances that led to the shooting or a possible motive.

The case remains under active investigation.
