Evergreen, Ala. (BuzzReport) — Authorities say traffic has returned to normal following a single-vehicle crash that temporarily disrupted travel on Interstate 65 in Conecuh County Sunday morning.

The crash occurred at approximately 8:26 a.m. on Sunday, March 1, in the northbound lanes of Interstate 65 near the 102-mile marker. The incident initially forced the closure of the left northbound lane while emergency crews responded and investigators worked the scene.

Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Highway Patrol Division were dispatched to investigate the crash, manage traffic, and ensure public safety. Officials said the lane was closed for an undetermined period as crews cleared the roadway.

As of the latest update, the scene has been cleared and all lanes of Interstate 65 in Conecuh County have reopened to traffic.

No additional details regarding injuries or the cause of the crash have been released. Authorities said the investigation is ongoing, and further updates will be provided if new information becomes available.
