Man Shot Inside Midtown Subway; No Suspect in Custody

Mobile, Alabama (BuzzReport) — A man was shot in the chest late Thursday night inside a Midtown restaurant, according to the Mobile Police Department.

Police confirmed the shooting occurred at approximately 10:00 p.m. at the Subway located on Dauphin Street. Officers responded to reports of gunfire and discovered an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.

Authorities say the victim was transported to a local hospital and was alive at the time he was taken for treatment. His current condition has not been released.
