Mobile, AL (BuzzReport) — Mobile police responded to a crash Wednesday night after a vehicle went into Eslava Creek, prompting an emergency response in the area. According to the Mobile Police Department, officers were dispatched around 8:00 p.m. to a location near Mohawk Street, where a car had crashed into the creek. Authorities said the occupants of the vehicle were able to escape after the crash and swam downstream until reaching the Pinehill Drive area. It is unclear how many people were inside the vehicle at the time of the incident, and no information has been released regarding possible injuries. The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Police have not released additional details as the investigation continues.
