Atmore, Ala. (BuzzReport) — The Atmore Police Department has announced an additional arrest in connection with the January 19, 2026 shooting incident in Atmore, Alabama. According to authorities, Tobijah Keimond Crenshaw, of Atmore, was taken into custody on Tuesday and charged with two counts of attempted murder, one count of shooting into an occupied vehicle or dwelling, and four counts of shooting into an unoccupied vehicle or dwelling. Police said Crenshaw was apprehended during a traffic stop, during which officers executed outstanding warrants related to the case. The arrest follows the return of ballistic testing results from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), as well as continued investigative efforts by multiple law enforcement agencies. Investigators indicated that the case remains active and ongoing, with evidence still being processed and additional leads being pursued from multiple angles. Authorities also noted that further arrests are anticipated as the investigation progresses. Crenshaw has been transported to the Escambia County Detention Center, where he will remain pending bond proceedings. No additional information is being released at this time. All individuals charged in connection with this case are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
