Havens Street Burglary Foiled, Suspect Arrested

Mobile, AL (BuzzReport)– A quiet Saturday evening in the 400 block of Havens Street was disrupted by a reported burglary in progress. Law enforcement officers were dispatched to the location on Saturday, November 23, 2025, arriving around 9:26 p.m.

Upon their arrival, authorities observed clear signs of forced entry, with the home’s door visibly damaged. A male individual was noted to be inside the residence. As officers moved to apprehend the subject, he made a swift attempt to flee the premises by exiting through a window.

A brief pursuit ensued, but officers were able to locate and detain the individual a short distance away. The suspect, identified as 31-year-old Ladun Bumpers, was subsequently taken into custody. He was then transported to Metro Jail. The investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
