Mobile County Sheriff’s Office Dismantles Major Drug Operation in Theodore, Seizing Fentanyl and Firearms

Theodore, AL (BuzzReport) – In a powerful display of proactive law enforcement, the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics and VICE Unit successfully dismantled a significant drug trafficking operation yesterday, Tuesday, August 19, 2025. The decisive action led to the arrest of a suspected dealer, Shunston Shamaine Shears, and the substantial seizure of a dangerous array of narcotics and weapons from a residence on King Street.

Acting on intelligence gathered during a diligent investigation, deputies executed a Narcotics Search Warrant at 5670 King Street in Theodore, AL. The target of the warrant, Shunston Shamaine Shears, had been under surveillance, believed to be actively distributing narcotics from the location.

The precision operation yielded a remarkable recovery of illicit substances and associated paraphernalia. Among the items confiscated were large quantities of Marijuana, Methamphetamine, Crack Cocaine, Powder Cocaine, and Synthetic Marijuana. Of grave concern was the discovery of deadly Fentanyl Laced Pills (M30s), underscoring the severe threat this operation posed to public safety. Additionally, deputies secured various prescription drugs, two firearms, drug paraphernalia, and a significant sum of US Currency.
