Creola, AL (BuzzReport) – On July 15, 2025, at approximately 7:50 PM, officers from the Creola Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee for a traffic violation on Dead Lake Road near Sailor Road. During the stop, officers discovered that the driver had active Failure to Appear warrants with the City of Wetumpka for charges related to Attempt to Elude and Reckless Driving. Following the discovery of the warrants, K9 Arac was deployed and alerted officers to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle. A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the recovery of 22.83 grams of Methamphetamine and $2,257 in cash. The driver was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The individual was then transported to the Mobile Metro jail for processing.
