Auburn, AL (BuzzReport) – A desperate search is underway in east Alabama for a 3-year-old child who is believed to be in imminent danger, according to an Amber Alert issued by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency. Jibreel Harun, last seen on Monday, is the subject of a massive manhunt, and authorities suspect his father, Aaron Dontay Williams, may be with him.

The investigation began when Auburn police officers responded to a welfare check at a home in the 1200 block of Samantha Court around 2:30 p.m. Upon entering the residence, they discovered the bodies of a woman and her juvenile daughter, whose identities have not been released.

As investigators looked into the case, they determined that Williams, the husband of the woman and father of the missing child, was not present at the scene. Law enforcement believes Williams may have taken Jibreel with him, prompting the issuance of the Amber Alert.

The public is urged to be vigilant and report any sightings of Williams or the missing child. The suspect is described as a 41-year-old male, 6’1″ and approximately 240 pounds, with a medium skin complexion. He is believed to be driving a gray 2010 Honda Accord with Alabama tag 43A224A.

If spotted, Williams should not be approached, as he is considered armed and dangerous. Instead, the public is asked to call 911 immediately. Anyone with information regarding Williams’ location is encouraged to contact the Auburn Police Department at 334-501-7313.

Authorities are working tirelessly to ensure the safe return of the young child, and the public’s assistance is crucial in this effort.
