Mobile, AL (BuzzReport) – A daring pursuit came to an end on Saturday afternoon in Mobile, Alabama, when officers apprehended three suspects after a high-speed chase. According to authorities, the incident began at approximately 2:55 p.m. in the 5200 block of Rangeline Road, where officers attempted to initiate a traffic stop. The driver, identified as Samuel Nelson, 23, refused to stop and led police on a pursuit that spanned several miles, ultimately ending in the 2700 block of Schillinger Road. Nelson attempted to flee on foot but was quickly detained by officers. In addition to Nelson, two passengers, Conner Holifield, 54, and Ryan Hammac, 42, were also arrested and transported to Metro Jail. All three suspects are facing charges related to possession of a controlled substance and attempting to elude law enforcement. The Mobile Police Department’s swift response and pursuit of the suspects ensured public safety and brought the individuals to justice.
