PENSACOLA, Fla. (BuzzReport) –Dozens of Pensacola residents took to the streets on Sunday to voice their strong opposition to potential U.S. involvement in a military strike against Iran. The demonstration, a response to what some are calling “Operation Midnight Hammer,” saw protestors gather at the corner of Garden and Palafox, a location that has become a familiar site for political demonstrations since the beginning of President Donald Trump’s second term.

The protest centered on concerns that the U.S. might be providing support to Israel in actions targeting Iranian nuclear sites. Demonstrators expressed their deep unease with the prospect of escalating tensions in the Middle East and the potential consequences of a military confrontation.

“We’re here to send a clear message: No war with Iran,” stated one protest organizer. “The American people do not want to be dragged into another costly and devastating conflict. We urge our leaders to prioritize diplomacy and de-escalation.”

The protest remained peaceful, with participants holding signs and engaging in discussions with passersby. While opinions on the matter undoubtedly vary across Pensacola, the demonstration underscores the significant anxieties felt by some within the community regarding U.S. foreign policy and the potential for military intervention.
