SHOOTING IN CITRONELLE, ONE PERSON HOSPITALIZED

Citronelle, AL (BuzzReport) – A violent altercation ended in a shooting late Friday night in Citronelle, Alabama. According to authorities, the incident occurred at approximately 10:45 PM outside the Jr Food Mart, located at the intersection of US Highway 45 and State Street.

During the confrontation, a firearm was discharged, striking one of the individuals involved. The injured person was subsequently transported to a hospital in Mobile for evaluation and treatment.

The Citronelle Police Department responded promptly to the scene, where they found the shooter still present. Remarkably, the shooter had provided aid to the injured party until the arrival of police and first responders. The individual is cooperating fully with the ongoing investigation.
