Mobile, AL (BuzzReport)- A domestic violence incident in Mobile’s Hurlburt Street area has left a woman with injuries, prompting an ongoing investigation by the Mobile Police Department.

According to a news release from MPD, officers responded to a home on Hurlburt Street at approximately 6 a.m. on Sunday, June 15, following reports of a domestic incident.

Upon arrival, authorities found a woman who had been assaulted by a man she knew. The victim was subsequently transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.
