One Dead, One Injured in Early Morning Shooting on East South Boulevard

Montgomery, AL (BuzzReport) –Montgomery Police are investigating a shooting that occurred early Sunday morning on the 2800 block of East South Boulevard, leaving one woman dead and another with life-threatening injuries.

According to police reports, MPD and fire medics responded to the scene around 2:00 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered two women suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were immediately transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Tragically, one of the women was pronounced dead at the hospital. Police have not yet released the identity of the deceased.
