Mobile, AL (BuzzReport) – The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office took BJ Squires, a former Bayou La Batre Police Officer, into custody on Monday, June 9, 2025, for probation revocation. Squires’ arrest stems from an alleged violation of his bond order, which required him not to leave the state. According to authorities, Squires was spotted at a baseball game in Biloxi, Mississippi, on June 5, prompting the District Attorney’s Office to revoke his bond and issue a warrant for his arrest. The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office received a tip about Squires’ whereabouts and apprehended him along Dauphin Island Parkway. Two individuals, Frankie Goss and Jeffrey Goss, were also arrested alongside Squires. They face charges of Hindering Prosecution in the first degree. Squires was previously indicted on charges including 1st-degree rape, 2nd-degree rape, 1st-degree sexual abuse, and 2nd-degree sexual abuse, following an investigation by the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office and the District Attorney’s Office in November 2024.
