Mobile, Ala. (BuzzReport) — A 21-year-old Daphne man is facing multiple charges, including indecent exposure, following an incident reported Saturday afternoon in a parking lot along Schillinger Road South, according to jail records.
Authorities say Caleb Rich was arrested after officers responded to a call around 12:40 p.m. at 790 Schillinger Road South. A woman reported that a disorderly individual had approached her and her children while they were standing near their vehicle.
According to police, the suspect exited his truck and walked toward the woman and her children. The woman told investigators she repeatedly instructed the man to return to his vehicle. While he initially complied, authorities say he exited the vehicle again moments later.
Police allege that during the encounter, the children had moved to the opposite side of the vehicle and were no longer in direct view when the suspect made a sexual gesture before returning to his truck.
When officers arrived on scene, they reported observing Rich inside his vehicle inhaling compressed air. He was removed from the vehicle and taken into custody without incident. Investigators say multiple cans of compressed air were found inside the truck.
Rich was transported to Mobile Metro Jail, where he faces charges including indecent exposure, disorderly conduct, public intoxication, failure to obey, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Officials say the investigation remains ongoing, and no additional details have been released.
